Pricing Information
I do not tolerate haggling or complaining about pricing. This is not a tattoo auction and we are not making a deal. You are requesting my services and will receive them at a set price. My prices reflect my time, effort, creativity, and the overall value of my artwork. If you are not willing to afford me, then you are not willing to afford my artwork. I do not owe nor will I give anyone favors.
My Artwork Style
I specialize in fine line work and lettering with a focus on Blackwork, Black & Grey, Lettering Dark ornamental style, and Macabre inspired dark art.
I stick primarily within the realms of black and gray with the use of white ink highlights. While I do dabble in color occasionally, I am NOT a color artist. For example, if you are looking for a full-color tattoo or something not within the realm of my portfolio, I may not be the artist suitable for your desired tattoo.
What if I just want you to draw it before I decide to get the tattoo?
My commissions are closed at this time. I will not draw artwork until a deposit is paid for a scheduled tattoo.
How old do you have to be to get a tattoo?
Tennessee State Law prohibits tattooing clients under the age of 18, even with parental consent.

Please note that if your email does not include the information below it may not be considered for scheduling.
Also important to note that I prefer in-person consultations, so do not be surprised if I ask you to schedule a consult with me.
How do I request a quote?
email bodyartbyred@gmail.com with the information listed above.
How do I schedule an appointment?
Since a cash deposit is required, you'll need to come into the shop and speak with me, personally. I will trade you a receipt for your deposit that contains your appointment date and time.
How long will my tattoo take?
If desired, I can give a rough estimate of the amount of time your tattoo will take, but the estimate is to be taken with a grain of salt. I am a meticulous, detail-oriented artist and refuse to rush for anyone. The time it takes depends on many factors including: the design and size, your skin's ability to take ink and not become overly-irritated, how much you talk to me and break my concentration, how many breaks you need, etc.
Please do not schedule with me before you have to go to work unless you're prepared to risk being late. Do not schedule with me before you have to pick your children up or run errands unless you are willing to be late. Do not schedule with me if you are not prepared to sit in my chair and enjoy the experience.
What do I need to bring to my appointment?
Your valid ID/Driver's License or passport and cash for payment.
Please also bring headphones, a book, a phone charger, a comfortable blanket, a fidget toy; anything that will occupy you while you're in my chair. I do enjoy talking to my clients but sometimes I need play music for us both so that I can focus on the task at hand instead of wasting both of our times by taking longer than necessary due to lack of concentration.
How many guests can I bring?
NO MORE THAN 1 GUEST PER CLIENT. My studio is meant to be calm and relaxed. Please inform your guest that the tattoo will take as long as it will take so if they feel bored, they are welcome to leave at any time and come back later.
Can I bring my children with me?
Under no circumstances are children under 18 allowed in the tattoo areas this includes infants and toddlers.
DO NOT BRING CHILDREN TO THE SHOP FOR ANY REASON UNLESS THEY ARE GETTING A PIERCING. If they are, DO NOT BRING THEIR SIBLINGS.
Tattoo shops are not suitable places for children and my shop is unsafe for children. It is meant to cater to adults.
DO NOT bring your child inside to schedule. DO NOT bring your child with you to ask questions. DO NOT bring your child to your appointment and DO NOT ASK FOR ANY EXCEPTIONS.
Some of us are parents and do not come to work to hear your child scream or clean up after them.
What if I'm late or forgot my appointment?
Please remember your appointment date and time. I am not responsible if you miss your appointment nor is it my job to call you.
I reserve the right to cancel or apply a $25 late fee to your appointment(s) if you are more than 15 minutes late!!
We are more than happy to reschedule if our books are open. Please note that a $25 inconvenience fee will be added to all appointments that are rescheduled less than 24 hours prior to the original appointment.
I can't make my appointment, can I get a refund?
All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE, no exceptions. Your deposit is meant to cover my time not only creating your artwork, but also if you do not show up and I cannot replace your spot.
